Western Association of Schools and Colleges Accreditation

Horizon Charter School is fully accredited through June 30, 2015 by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). This accreditation certifies to the public that the school is a trustworthy institution of learning and validates the integrity of our educational programs. WASC accreditation assures the broader school community that our purposes are appropriate and being accomplished through high quality educational programs. In addition, the University of California (UC) requires all schools that offer UC-approved courses meeting a-g requirements to be accredited by WASC.
