On-Demand Learning
On-Demand Learning includes online, Horizon approved, curriculum accessible at any time, pre-recorded lessons, interactive learning experiences, engaging activities, and supplementary offline “home” work managed through one platform. Materials provided include workbooks, grade level kits, manipulatives, and pacing guides.
Blended Learning
Blended Learning included scheduled, live, virtual instruction provided by a Horizon Teacher a few days each week. Horizon provides approved print curriculum and grade level material, pacing guides and digital online resources.
Supported Home Study
Supported Home Study is where family provides daily instruction in Math and/or English Language Arts with the guidance and support of a Supervising Teacher. Horizon provides approved workbooks, grade level material, pacing guides, and/or digital online curriculum.
Alternative Home Study
Family provides daily instruction in Math and/or English Language Arts with the support of a Supervising Teacher. Horizon approved materials are selected in consultation with the family and ordered by the Horizon Teacher to align with grade level standards, learner needs, and interests.
